Native American Teachings: Wisdom In A 'Borderless' Fashion:
I truly do not think that anyone can object to the statement that Pre-Colonialism Natives had a richly detailed culture, verbally-recorded history, and spirituality rich in mythological lore and legends. In fact, I think one of the reasons why Natives seemed to take on a persona of being strong, tough, and intimidating is because not only was their culture so different than anything the Europeans were familiar with at the time, but that Natives were rich in sincereity, knowledge and wisdom easily evident with the variety of handmade garments and elaborately crafted jewlery and through the headgear that the Chief's would wear, which made for a fierce and independent look to them. Their knowledge was and is, different than almost any other culture known to man - involving the natural ebb and flow of Nature itself and of living honestly in accord with the Earth. We could all learn from their wisdom that still prevails, so long as we each take the time to listen.
